Cherry Run PTA Welcomes You to the New School Year!

Our school motto this year is "Excellence in Motion," and we have certainly hit the ground running. We kicked off the year with a great turnout at the
back to school picnic and open house, and we have the popular Fall Festival coming next, so keep your eyes on the Cherry Run PTA calendar and the school web site!

The PTA Executive Board is deeply grateful to everyone who joined the PTA. Your membership makes it possible for us to plan and offer wonderful programs to our children.

We also appreciate all the tremendous volunteer support of the PTA committees that organize our events and activities. Your involvement creates an enriching and fulfilling atmosphere at Cherry Run.

We always welcome additional members and volunteers, so please contact us if you want to join, have a great idea, or would like to volunteer on the PTA committees.

As PTA President I am excited with the enthusiasm and commitment of our school community. With a warm welcome to all the new and returning students and parents, teachers, and staff, I look forward to a great year at Cherry Run!

What does the PTA at Cherry Run Do?

Organize extracurricular activities;

Help in the classrooms;

Organize social events;

Run the Thanksgiving Lunch;

Assist on Picture Day;

Copy teaching materials;

Publish the directory and newsletter;

Maintain PTA website.

The PTA (Parent/Teacher Association) is an advocacy association made up of parents, guardians, teachers and other volunteers who have a special interest in children, families and schools. The PTA holds meetings, supports teachers, provides school volunteers, send representatives to parenting workshops, and educates members on issues regarding children and youth.
